Harold Lonks

A Winfield resident since 2009, Harold over the years, has been active in the community by serving on various boards and committees. In 2022, he was appointed a member of the Administration and Finance Committee and keeps a watchful eye over spending and future direction of the Village. He volunteers for the Winfield Foundation which sponsors events such as concert nights, Criterium and Summerfest to the village. Last year, he completed his 5-year term on the CUSD200 Citizens Advisory Committee and prior to that, served on the CUSD200 Enrollment and Community Engagement Committees.

Harold graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in Accounting and Finance. He is self-employed using his financial and accounting background working with small businesses.

Harold, along with Maria, raised their 2 daughters in Winfield going through CUSD200 schools and are now finishing their college education. The Winfield community is a great place to raise a family with its good schools, park districts, access to bike trails, forest preserves and other recreational venues. He looks forward to maintaining Winfield’s small town feel while moving forward with common sense development.
